Dosing linear robot - CPR

Dosing applications in numerous variations are very often requested from us. A wide variety of liquids are used here, which is why a high degree of flexibility is required when designing the solution. In this example, a blue-coloured liquid had to be applied precisely on an aluminium plate.

The application of such "liquid dots" cannot be implemented using a manual process, since there are inaccuracies in the positioning as well as different dosing quantities of the individual dots. It was also important that the process was carried out within a closed cell, so that external disruptive factors could not have a negative impact on the result.

Once all fluid points have been automatically dosed, the aluminium plates can be removed from the robot cell after a certain drying time. As there is no lubricant, there is no risk of contamination from foreign substances within the cell.
