The vending machine from T&D Erler personalises (promotional) gifts in no time at all. Names can be engraved on pieces of wood with just a few clicks. The process takes place in a visible vending machine. By being able to watch the process, the customer is offered a fundamentally different shopping experience.

The problem

Inside the rather compact vending machine, a flexible robot arm is required, which has to move to several stations in a confined space.
In addition, the two factors "cost of acquisition of the robot" and "maintenance effort" are decisive for the economic implementation of the project.

The solution

A robolink® RL-DP in conjunction with a gripper. This picks up the raw materials and feeds them to the corresponding process steps. The fixed sequence creates an efficient purchasing process.
