The ReBeL is the first cobot made of high-performance plastic. At just 8kg, it is the lightest in its class: a true lightweight robot. The compact, space-saving design with integrated control system in the base opens up completely new fields of application for service robotics. In collaboration with humans, the robot takes on tasks in the event and catering environment, for example as a reliable coffee server or as a machine loader in production. The robot is available as a plug-and-play version with an integrated control system and robot software or as an open-source version. Users can also choose between 4 or 6 degrees of freedom, allowing them to customise the Cobot to their individual application scenario.
What does a cobot cost?
Standard market prices for cobots are between 25,000 and 40,000 euros. A cobot made of high-performance plastic, on the other hand, costs only 1/5th of the average price thanks to low production costs. This means that the costs are amortised after just three to six months.
