Free positioning of the electric drives with gantry drive
The positioning of drylin® E electric motors within the XYZ robots usually takes place outside the gantry system. The new drylin® E Gantry Drive gantry drive enables the motor to be positioned freely between two linear axes. This means that the electric motor no longer protrudes from the gantry system.

The W+F Engineering GmbH Camping Butler is a fully automatic cleaning system for septic tanks on camping sites. Within the Camping Butler there is a drylin room linear robot that turns, empties and cleans the tank. The key is that all igus components are lubrication-free, maintenance-free and corrosion-free and therefore perfectly suited to the hygienic cleaning system.
