With the e-spool® standard and the HD version, cables are wound up in a space-saving energy chain. By using the twisterband, a wide variety of media can be guided without interruption. Adaptations and extensions to the filling are also possible at any time.

Due to the special mechanical stress in an e-spool®, we recommend using our chainflex® cable. We also recommend adhering to the following filling rules:
1. cables may only be laid side by side in the linear chain - never lay several cables on top of each other!
2. chainflex® cables with a TPE outer jacket should be used for unshielded cables wherever possible.
3. shielded cables should be from the chainflex® CFROBOT cable family.
4. the maximum bend radius of the twisterband used must be observed.
5. if possible, use separators to protect cables against flashover and abrasion. To make the best possible use of the interior space, install separators alternately in consecutive segments.
6. Insert cables sorted by diameter or bend radius - insert thin, small ones towards the inside and larger ones towards the outside.
7. Relieve the strain on both ends of the cable. The cable tie knot must not be fitted in the direction of the chain.
8. the cables should be laid in the twisterband in such a way that they have some clearance space both outwards and inwards to the rotary axis.
Installation instructions
In the case of a horizontally travelling application, a smooth surface must be provided on which the energy chain can travel.
