e-skin® flat - Technical details

The flat cable management system e-skin® flat consists of individual interconnectable cable chambers. One or more cables can be inserted into these chambers.

There are 3 variants:

Closed variants:

SKF12C [Innenhöhe = 12 mm]
SKF15C [Innenhöhe = 15 mm]

Openable variants (chambers can be opened and closed with a zip fastener)

SKF12O [Innenhöhe = 12 mm]

A = 37.5 mm

S = up to 3000 m
H = from 80 mm
Lk = S/2 + K
K = 3.14 x R (largest bend radius of the guided cable) + 2 x 100 mm + 2 x 37.5 mm

With the SKF12O, cables can be replaced in minutes.

Particle-protected with closed guide chambers SKF12C/SKF15C.

Filled with 1, 2 or 3 identical cables per chamber

Distribution rules

1 Rule:

SKF12C: [A] inner height = 12 mm | [B] outer height = 13 mm ➔ Cable diameter 10 mm
SKF15C: [A] inner height = 15 mm | [B] Outer height = 16 mm ➔ Cable diameter 13 mm

2 Rule:

SKF12O: [A] inner height = 12 mm | [B] outer height = 13 mm ➔ Cable diameter 10 mm

3 Rule:

Pod with housed support chain SKF.S for unsupported length of SKF12C and to avoid abrasion

SKF12O and SKF12C

1 If the cable diameter is 10 mm, then only one cable in a pod

2 If the cable diameter is 6.5 mm, then max. 2 cables in one pod

3 If cable diameter is 4 mm, then max. 3 cables in one pod

SKF15C

1 If cable diameter is 13 mm, then only one cable in a pod

2 If cable diameter is 8 mm, then max. 2 cables in one pod

3 If cable diameter is 6 mm, then max. 3 cables in one pod

B = 53 - 157 mm
C = 18 mm
D = 37.5 mm
