Cable in the box – save immediately with chainflex® CASE

In his search for an alternative to conventional cable storage, Stefan Zeis, maintenance engineer at the BSH plant in Bad Neustadt, came across our new chainflex® CASE. Your cable is reeled onto a special spool in the length you require, which is housed in a 50x40x50 cm box. The cable can be unwound from this box straight away. The stackable box can be stored immediately, saving a lot of space. Each box is labelled with a QR code and the customer's name, which can be used to identify and reorder the cable. Thanks to the box, delivery is now carried out by the parcel service, which further reduces costs. In the BSH example, a saving of up to 84% on shipping costs was achieved. Fully convinced by this concept, the BSH maintenance engineers are now planning to switch completely to the innovative solution.

What was needed: a modern solution for the precise reeling of the correct cable length without waste, avoidance of packaging material, time saving, improvement of the storage situation
Requirements: the required cables were estimated by maintenance engineers and reeled with a safety allowance in the bearing - usually with waste. BSH was therefore looking for a solution that would minimise waste and time lost due to unpacking and reeling onto drums.
