In this version, special plastic sliding guide elements are attached to the side of the chain link every 1,000 to 2,000 mm. The function of these guide elements is similar to the centreboards used on sailing boats. Some of these centreboards are designed in such a way that they swivel up on contact with solid ground and allow the boat to continue its journey. Similarly, the sliding guide elements at autoglide rise and fall, depending on their position as the lower run or upper run of the chain. They ensure precise lateral guidance and clean gliding of the e-chain®.
The sliding guide elements are mounted on every 24th chain link from the fixed end of the e-chain®.
Series 2400/2450/2480/2500 up to 10 m length possible without floor guides.
