Oil test with e-chain®

igus® energy chains are exposed to various materials in different applications. Whether metal chips, sawdust or liquids: We have a suitable solution for your energy supply, such as RX tubes, AX chains and many more, and in this test we exposed our e-chain® to various oils and lubricants. Lubricants are used in production in many industries and it is therefore possible that our e-chain® may also come into contact with these cooling lubricants and cutting oils. We have now tested the worst-case scenario and ran our e-chain® 255.10.075.0 through baths with various oils over a period of four months. After this period, we compared it with an e-chain® that had not been exposed to these agents.
