For vertical hanging applications where guidance using a guide trough is not possible for space reasons. Magnets hold the energy chain in the specified direction and "fix" it to the metal wall. The magsnap energy chain is also very suitable for vertical circular movements (reverse bend radius), as magnets hold the outer radius of the energy chain on the "reverse bend radius guide trough" and the energy chain can be moved safely and smoothly.

Typical areas of application: Suspended applications, such as: Stacker cranes, lifts, automated car parking stations and vertical applications with circular movements (reverse bend radius)

A magsnap is fitted to every fifth chain link as standard - this can vary for high filling weights. magsnap is available for many igus® energy chains. Energy chains such as the E6.29, the E4.32, the 2600, the B17 and many more have already been equipped with magsnaps.

The E2.15 energy chain series of the E2.1 micro energy chain family is a very small, one-piece and two-part energy chain with a low weight and is therefore ideal for highly dynamic applications. E2.1 micro e-chain® are ideal for the smallest installation spaces and also offer a robust stop-dog system for up to 25 % greater unsupported length and 100 % higher additional loads.
