The use of a driving simulation can pose a number of challenges. The parts used are often too heavy, which leads to increased friction and requires regular maintenance. Lubricants are often used that make it difficult to clean the parts easily.

This results in noises that can make the simulation experience seem unrealistic. Installation is often complicated and not customised to individual customer requirements. These factors also mean that a long service life is not guaranteed.

In a driving simulation, various components from igus® are used to implement the movements in the yaw, pitch and roll directions.
