The ECO all-rounder in green

Environmentally friendly rotation: xiros stands for sustainability

The topic of sustainability plays a key role in the industry. We therefore have a duty to find sustainable solutions, as industry is the world's second biggest CO2 emitter. When it comes to plastic recycling, our new material xirodur® ECO B180 comes into play. This consists of raw materials that have already been used, such as sprues from injection moulding production, and is reprocessed into plastic granulate in an in-house process. Instead of being disposed of, used plastic is given a new lease of life. Finally, injection moulding is used to produce an ECO-all-rounder in green with a recycled inner and outer ring made from coloured xirodur® B180 and a cage made from recycled iglidur® material.
