Sealing concept with felt

Our iglidur® and igutex® plain bearings with felt seal prevent dirt and dust from penetrating into the bearing position. shaft and plain bearing are thus protected against wear and premature failure.

Dirt and dust are a heavy load for plain bearings and shafts. That is why we have developed an additional safety concept for our self-lubricating iglidur® bearings: Felt seals. Simply placed on the flange of the bearing, they protect against the ingress of dirt and thus reduce maintenance intervals and machine downtimes.

Clean and environmentally friendly

Plain bearing with felt seal requires no lubrication

iglidur® Due to their lubrication-free dry operation, plain bearings are generally insensitive to dirt and dust. This is due to the fact that in most applications the dirt does not remain in the bearing position for long but can trickle through.

In applications with very high dirt loads, however, this effect is no longer sufficient. Here, a permanent relubrication often ensures that the dirt is permanently pressed out of the bearing position.

Thanks to iglidur® bearings with felt seal, you can dispense with lubrication and still keep dirt and dust safely out of the bearing position. This saves you costly lubrication systems and protects the environment.
