igus® supports!

Developing and designing a project on the computer is nice. But you also want to be able to touch it at some point. Unfortunately, many students fail at this point due to a lack of financial or material resources. If you have an interesting project but lack the means to realise it, you can find out on this page how you can receive support from igus® as part of the Young Engineers Support.

What information do we need from you?

If you are interested in us sponsoring your project, we need the following information:

A project description that is as precise as possible, including the task, possible problems and their solution approach.
Information about the current progress of your project.
An assessment of which of our products you would like to use and/or what financial resources you require.

What you can expect from us

Of course, we cannot respond positively to all enquiries. But if we decide to support you in your business, we will do so 100%. This means

that we treat you like a customer in terms of speed, friendliness and service,
you will be assigned a personal product manager who will support and advise you in all situations,
you will receive free samples or student-friendly discounts on products.

What we expect from you

We know that as a student you have other commitments in addition to your studies. Nevertheless, we expect you to keep us informed about your project and to write a report for publication on our marketing channels after completion. This is by no means intended to be harassment, but rather to publicise your project and show where igus® products are used everywhere. You also have the opportunity to take part in the vector or manus® award with this project report and win up to €5,000 for an innovative use of igus® products.
