Separators can be positioned at any point in the chain cross-section. The standard separator part no. 281 acts as a secure support by virtue of its wide base, even in the case of thick and cables/hoses Separator part no. 281-14 can be used to increase the spacing between the separators. Additionally available for applications with energy tubes: Separator part no. 281T. It is mounted on one side on the floor of the energy tube. The connection to the lid is loose to allow easy opening of the energy tube.

The various elements of the interior separation kit allow vertical as well as horizontal division of the Energy Chains® and tubes Side-plates and shelves form the basic framework of a rack system. On a height grid of 0.28 (7 mm), shelves of different widths can be arranged in 3 stages. Assignments are recommended in the chapter titled "Design specifications".
During installation of the "open" slotted separator, the uppermost and lowermost "grid levels" cannot be occupied by a shelf.
For special applications: Separators with integrated shelf
Examples of interior separation:
Slotted separator Art. No. 297 which is open on one side can be post-integrated into existing interior-separation systems without the need for dismantling them beforehand (does not apply to shelves at be uppermost or lowermost grid levels).

Aluminum "Super Trough"- the igus® standard

The Aluminum "SuperTrough" is a modular guide trough system for long travels (when E-Chains® glide on themselves, as per sketch). Aluminum "SuperTrough" is available in low cost "basic versions" and can be upgraded for heavy duty applications. This universal usage makes it the igus® recommended new standard trough system.
