Series 240AG

Series 240AG - E-Chain® snap open in the inner radius

Glide shoes 'Auto Glide' for the Series 240. Every 39.37 to 78.74 (1000 - 2000 mm), special plastic glide shoes are mounted laterally on the chain link. They provide the precise lateral guidance and a smooth glide of the E-Chain®.

Inner widths Bi: 0.98 up to 4.92 (25 - 125 mm)
Bending radii R: 2.17 up to 4.92 (55 - 125 mm)
Pitch: 1.81 (46 mm) per link = 7 links/ft (22/m)

At the same time, separators are the only possibility of dividing the interior of the non-snap-open Type 200 chain. Separators with a wider base (not Series 200) limit the distance between 2 crossbars to 1.02 (26 mm). Spacers perform the same function. Both methods are used predominantly in the case of side-mounted chains.
