Tubular bag packaging machines quickly pack products, whether they are food, pharmaceutical or non-food products.
Vertically aligned, they can also be used in confined spaces. lubrication-free and low-maintenance bearing components such as profile rail systems or spindle lifting tables are used at various stations in these machines.

Products used and application examples
The stations of pouch packaging machines and the products we use are shown below as examples. Among other things, drylin® profile guides, spindle linear tables or iglidur® plastic plain bearings are used in the sealing bar, bag folder or in the format adjustment of the bag width.

1. product dosing
Wear-resistant and lubrication- and maintenance-free iglidur ® J plain bearings and igubal ® spherical plain bearings in the flap bearing enable reliable product dosing.

2. unwinding of tubular film
At the start of the packaging process, xiros ball bearings enable the reliable and durable unwinding of the tubular film. They enable maximum running performance in continuous operation.

3. film run correction | web edge detection
The format adjustment for film run correction enables maintenance-free dryspin® lead screw technology and drylin® linear tables. drylin® linear guide guide the sensors for checking the print mark and web edge.

4. film deflection
xiros plastic ball bearings in the film deflector are a cost-effective alternative to metal ball bearings. They are lubrication-free, corrosion-free and low-noise.

5. transverse sealing tool**(sealing bar)**
In combination with drylin® R shaft guide and igubal ® rod end, drylin® linear plain films enable maximum running performance when supporting the sealing bars.

6. longitudinal sealing tool**(sealing bar)**
In combination with drylin® R shaft guide and igubal ® rod end, drylin® linear sliding foils enable maximum running performance when supporting the sealing bars.

Horizontal flow-wrapping machines (HFFS)

In horizontal flow-wrapping machines, a wide variety of products such as food, pharmaceutical products or non-food products are fed into pouch packaging and packaged. Our linear products such as profile rail systems or spindle lifting tables are used at various stations of these systems to ensure a smooth packaging process.

1. positioning of the film roll
Manual positioning of the film roll is ensured by means of a drylin® SHT -20-EWM-axis with a driven and a pulled carriage as well as the torque support via a drylin® floating bearing.

Format adjustment at the filling station

Automated adjustment in the filling station area is carried out using a reverse drylin® SHT spindle-linear system with a flange-mounted NEMA 17 motor.

3. positioning of the hole punch
A drylin® linear system SHT-12-EWM with one driven and one travelling carriage and a NEMA 17 stepper motor is used for the automated positioning of the hole punch.

4. guidance of the bag folder
drylin® R linear plain bearings guide the movement (opposite directions) during the bag folding process.

5. format adjustment of the labeller

The automatic format adjustment of the labeller is performed by a drylin® SHT -20 with NEMA 23 motor.
