Robust cable guidance systems for cantilever and drill floor skid at sea

The requirements for safe cable feed along the moving cantilever skids and drill floor skids are enormous. Our "Heavy Duty" -energy chain, cable and accessory products for the offshore industry are therefore specially designed for moving high additional loads and large hose and cable assemblies. The robust plastic-energy chains prove their worth on the high seas, where their corrosion resistance and low weight are particularly impressive compared to steel chains or festooning systems. The lubrication- and maintenance-free operation of the chains ensures reliable cable routing, guarantees a high degree of planning security and reduces running costs. Offered as a turnkey system solution, we provide the cable routing together with engineering, project management, installation and acceptance on site.

plastic-energy chains for the "Heavy Duty" range were installed on this 3000 HP modular offshore drilling rig on the cantilever and the drill floor skid. They carry an additional load of 200 kg/m on 17.5 and 8 m travel respectively. The advantages here were the low weight and high stability.
