What is the condition of your roller chain? The contactless EC.IT sensor records the data during operation, so to speak "in passing". Thanks to the direct connection to our Superwise Service, the EC.IT sensor box can provide you with information on service life, maintenance recommendations or notifications in the event of anomalies. And you can have all the information displayed clearly in the dashboard.

The EC.IT system monitors the function of roller chains during operation without contact. A sensor detects the condition of the unsupported upper run and sends the data to the superwise platform or the local i.Cee module.
These advanced sensors enable precise monitoring of the condition of your roller chains without direct contact or interruption of operation. They offer an efficient solution for avoiding downtime and extending the service life of machines. All system data is displayed and a service life forecast is created based on your information and the familiar algorithms of the proven online service life calculator. Just in time before the end of the safe operating time of the igus® e-chain system®, the igus® sales department will make you an offer to replace the system in good time!

The smart plastic condition monitoring components reliably prevent total failures due to chain breakage, blockages or cable damage. In the event of a shutdown, you will be informed immediately by e-mail or text message, and the igus® sales department will also be informed so that fast deliveries can be arranged if necessary. All messages are saved with measured values in the portal and can be analysed at a later date for diagnostic purposes. In addition to the Basic Service, the system also records an optional movement profile, allowing a more precise service life calculation or service planning.

Additional sensors are installed in your system to determine the actual wear of the e-chain systems ® or cable. This status information is available to you 24/7 via the i.Cee portal and enables long-term maintenance and retrofit planning. Depending on the i.Cee hardware used, sensor data can be saved for later analyses. The i.Cee systems are designed to recognise unusual operating conditions at an early stage and generate preventive information in good time!
