Profile rol e-chain® P4: for very high fill weights and speeds
Over 1,000 systems with conventional e-chain rollers® are in continuous use around the world. The industry, and crane construction in particular, is placing ever greater demands on travel length, filling weight, special and high travelling speeds, while at the same time ensuring smooth operation. We fulfil these requirements with the P4 system. Systems of this type should be designed by our project engineers. We would be happy to provide you with a quotation. - The pitch of the chain links with and without rollers is the same
- The upper run rollers run through the rollers of the lower run (not on top of each other as with previous profile roller chains), resulting in very smooth running
- Roller "captive" integrated in the side section
- Long travel distances (up to 800 m), high additional loads (up to 30 kg/m)
- For very long travel distances and high speeds up to 10 m/s travelling speed
- AUTO-GLIDE crossbar ensures safe guidance for very long travel distances
- Available in 2 internal heights (32 and 42 mm)
- Modular P4 construction kit with internal divisions of the E4 system
- Significant reduction of the drive force to less than 25 % for moving the energy chain
- Can be equipped with i.Sense condition monitoring system

Test for long travels
The roller e-chain® was tested with a travel speed of up to 8 m/s over a distance of currently 200 m, which corresponds to 400 m of travel. The fully automated system takes into account a wide range of applications in terms of acceleration and speed. In addition to the mechanical load caused by the movement of the transfer vehicle, environmental influences have an unimpeded effect on the tested energy chain and cable.
