WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) combines the natural specification of wood fibres with the durability of plastic, resulting in a robust yet lightweight housing. The ESQM 2.0 is an innovative pillow block bearing for tracking solar modules that is characterised by high performance, simple assembly, optimised materials and reduced installation height. It consists of a split housing and two spherical ball half-shells, which enable angular compensation of up to 9 degrees and a radial load capacity of up to 50 kN. The spherical ball is made of the wear-resistant and chemical-resistant tribopolymer iglidur P UV, which has a high UV resistance. The lower part of the housing is also made of a UV-resistant material and has pins that prevent the bearing from slipping during assembly. The upper part of the housing is a galvanised sheet metal bracket, which saves installation height. In addition, the spherical ball has openings for the guidance of cable along the profile, which enables clean and safe cabling of the solar modules. The second generation of the ESQM is lighter than its predecessor and therefore saves material and costs.
