To correctly design the drylin® T-linear guide system, it must be determined whether the position of the applied forces is within the permissible limits and whether the most heavily loaded sliding element is not overloaded.
It is also important to calculate the required drive force and the maximum permissible speed; different calculation formulae apply depending on the arrangement of the guidance.
Please note that the following calculations do not include any safety factors with regard to impact loads and acceleration forces. The drive should always be in the exact x-direction, as otherwise additional loads and increased drive resistance (risk of blocking!) will occur (e.g. with crank drives).
