Cylindrical lead screw nut:
The outer diameter of cylindrical lead screw nuts is not designed for an interference fit. We therefore recommend a positive fit for securing, e.g. the attachment of spanner flats. In practice, a screw connection has also proved successful for low forces. Gluing in lead screw nuts is generally not recommended. If the lead screw nut is nevertheless to be fastened by gluing, suitable tests are required in any case and compatibility with the iglidur® material must be checked.

Flange thread nuts:
A maximum tightening torque of 2.5 Nm applies for the fastening screws of the flange lead screw nut. We recommend securing the fastening screws with a third medium (e.g. liquid threadlocker). For higher tightening torques, the use of metal press-fit sleeves is recommended.
