All igus® e-spool® spring cable reels consist of an energy chain, which is guided by a roller and ensures exactly the right length and tension of the energy supply at all times thanks to an integrated retaining spring. And a twisterband is responsible for the rotary movements. This special design makes it possible to move in any direction. Thanks to the use of the twisterband, the e-spool® does not require a slip ring. This ensures a high level of data transmission reliability and stability. In addition, the e-spool® can be guided in all directions (horizontally, vertically, diagonally) and space-saving, as the energy chain is rolled up in the starting position, leaving the paths free.
